Trauma was released today in the UK. The official Trauma website is now up and running - it’s freaky, yet very cool. Check it out! MyMovies.net has several clips from the movie and interviews with Colin Firth and Mena on their website here - again very cool things. According to Firth.com, Trauma will screen at 9.30pm on the 17th & 18th of this month (today & tomorrow!) at the Toronto Film Festival. I found a poster for Trauma - it’s a pity it doesnt feature Mena :-/

According to the BBC - the UK release for Trauma will be pushed back - AGAIN. Trauma is released in UK cinemas on Friday 17th September 2004. The BBC has some Trauma related interviews on there websites (good to see it’s making up for it!). One with Mena Suvari and one with director, Marc Evans. The UK telegraph also have a Trauma article with Marc Evans here.

The Times Online (UK) has put up a great interview with Mena for Trauma - Look forward to more in the next few weeks - Trauma is being released in the UK on August 27th (about time! :wink:) - and also thanks to Nikki for sending in a scan of Mena from the UK edition of B magazine, August edition - its an awesome new picture/shoot by Craig De Cristo. Very excited for more of the shoot to be published!

Ok - a lot to tell. Firstly, Trauma release dates. It opens in the UK nation wide on August 27th, but you can get tickets to the Edinburgh International Film Festival for August 20th and 23rd (tickets & details here). Also - showing at the National Film Theatre on August 22nd is special preview of Trauma, PLUS Colin Firth and Marc Evans in Conversation (more details here). Trauma will also play at the Toronto Film Festival on September 9th to 18th according to Firth.com

Lastly… and FINALLY! We have a Trauma trailer and it gave me the spooks! I’m so looking forward to this!!! A HUGE thanks to Nita for scanning Zink magazine for us - TOTALLLY beautiful. It’s a great interview too which talks about Trauma and Beauty Shop.
